The Yarchuk knife has a full-tang design, and is a reliable and compact representative of our line that helps in any conditions.
The name itself is taken from Ukrainian folk beliefs. Yarchuk is a dog with wolf fangs, who is afraid of evil forces - witches, sorcerers, and even the devil.
Knife made of semi-stainless steel X12MF (similar to D2, T30402) with a hardness of 58-59 units. according to Rockwell. The thickness is 4.7 mm., but it can be adjusted depending on the manufacturing batch. Due to its characteristics, the steel perfectly withstands transverse and lateral loads, and the cutting edge remains as sharp as possible.
The handle is made of micarta and is hand-finished in the style of broken stone, maintaining special ergonomics for a comfortable grip during intensive use. . Micarta is a material that does not crack or rot, and is also immune to the destructive effects of bad weather. There is a large palette of colors available, which will allow you to make the knife individual.
The knife is etched in iron chloride and has a Stone Wash finish, which is used to give a non-uniform matte surface and has an anti-glare coating. Most scratches become invisible, unlike knives with a satin finish or with a polymer coating.
There are also options with a polymer coating. The polymer coating has better protection against moisture and various types of pollution. Before applying the polymer coating, each knife is sandblasted. Next, the knife is painted and baked in a specialized oven.
