"Shchedryk" from prostaSTAL is a knife with a full shank, created from tool steel X12MF (similar to D2, T30402) with a hardness of 57-58 HRC. Ideal for tourism and outdoor activities, it is sharpened by our craftsmen using six elbor stones to achieve a perfect cutting angle of 40 degrees. Both sides are sharpened at 50 degrees, which provides additional stability when used in difficult conditions.
The handle is made of durable micarta and is hand-polished in a "broken stone" style. Micarta is not susceptible to cracks, is not afraid of moisture and is excellent for intensive use. The color palette allows you to give the knife a unique look that reflects your individual style.
The blade has been etched in iron chloride and finished with Stone Wash, which gives it a matte, non-uniform texture with anti-reflective properties. Scratches on the surface remain invisible, unlike glossy options with a satin finish. Options with a polymer coating are also available, which provides additional protection against moisture and weather conditions.
