"Tanto" are tourist knives designed for maximum comfort and functionality during active recreation. They are distinguished by a strong construction and reliability to cope with any tasks in nature. With a high-quality blade that stays sharp even after long use, these knives handle a variety of materials with ease, from wood to rope.

"Tanto" is a true representative of our series of knives with a fixed blade, which has excellent cutting, chopping and penetrating properties. The blade, made in the style of American tanto, has a slight sharpening near the butt, which improves the penetrating ability. All cutting edges are carefully sharpened by hand using 6 abrasive stones. The sharpening angle is set to an optimal 40 degrees, but we can adapt it according to your wishes. After sharpening, each knife is checked for sharpness and duration of cutting properties.

The strong 4.7 mm thick blade makes it possible to use the knife as leverage when needed. The knife "Tanto" by prostaSTAL is made of high-quality tool steel X12MF (similar to D2, T30402) with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. The blade has excellent durability under transverse and lateral loads, while the edge maintains maximum sharpness for a long time.

The handle of the knife is made of micarta and hand-polished in the style of "broken stone", which ensures a comfortable grip even during active use. Micarta is a super-strong material that is resistant to cracks, moisture and weather conditions. The choice of colors allows you to personalize the knife to emphasize your individuality.

There are notches for the thumb on the earpiece, which ensures a stable hold during work. The blade is processed in iron chloride and receives a Stone Wash finish, which gives the knife a textured, matte surface with anti-reflective properties. This coating perfectly hides small scratches that would be visible on glossy or satin surfaces.

We also offer the option to make each knife unique with laser engraving. Before applying, we create a mock-up so you can make adjustments and see in advance how your masterpiece will look.

The "Tanto" knife can easily cope with any utilitarian tasks due to its multifunctionality. With the help of a strong scabbard from prostaSTAL, the knife is conveniently fixed on the belt, hip or other equipment. Each sheath is made individually and adjusted to your needs: wearing angle, fixation point, fit, color and even unique designs. Belt mounts, MOLLE system and hip options are available.
