The black Micarta handle does not absorb moisture and does not slip in the hand, which is critical during rain or cold. The inclusion of a fire starter and a ceramic rod makes you completely autonomous, allowing you to light a fire and maintain blade sharpness during any trek. The Tek-Lok mount on the sheath allows for secure knife fixation on a belt at any angle or on MOLLE system gear.
