Skeletal knife simple "Paton" (etching)
The price is only for one knife and sheath to it WITHOUT attachments and engravings
Ukrainian scientist, engineer and public figure Boris Paton was born on November 27, 1918 in Kyiv. He was the son of the outstanding scientist Eugene Paton and continued the glorious family tradition in science. Boris Paton's great contribution to the development of welding and metallurgy, as well as his founding of the Evgeny O. Paton Electric Welding Institute, is known throughout the world. Active participation in scientific and public organizations, both in Ukraine and abroad, confirms his patriotism and devotion to the science of his native country.

Boris Paton's father, Evgeny Oskarovich Paton, is known as the designer of the world's first all-welded bridge across the Dnipro in Kyiv. His significant contribution to the development of engineering and scientific confirmation of research is not only this bridge, but also numerous other achievements. The father, together with his sons Boris and Volodymyr, were the first to experience the city, driving through it in a company car. This is about family patriotism and loyalty to the country.

Boris Paton's patriotic feelings were also evoked in the important decision to refuse the proposal to announce the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Moscow. It was for the scientist to stay in Kyiv, where he could continue his scientific and social activities at his father's Institute of Electric Welding and the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. This is known about his attachment to his native city and dedication to the development of science in Ukraine.

Boris Paton is also known for his innovative achievements in the field of space technologies. His invention - the world's first device for processing metal in space using a beam of changes - revolutionized the industrial process. This technology is not only capable of cutting, welding, plating and applying a metal coating, but it was tested for the first time on the Soyuz 6 spacecraft in 1969. The development of the "Vulkan" apparatus in Kyiv was marked as a huge step in the development of space engineering and the welding industry.
