Tourist knife with two-edged sharpening Shchedryk withstands impact and side loads well. In order to reduce weight, but without loss in functional qualities, a volume dollar is placed on both sides in the center of the knife. For greater comfort and confidence during intense loads, there are notches under the thumb on the tip.
Full tang (full tang) from Prost Stal is made of tool semi-stainless steel X12MF (similar to D2, T30402) with hardness 57-58 units. according to Rockwell. The knife for tourism and camping sharpens well, hardened to a hardness of 57-58 HRC. Out of the box, the knife is sharpened by our craftsmen using 6 elbor stones. The sharpening angle of the main knife is 40 degrees (total angle), and both sides are at 50 degrees.
The handle is made of micarta and is hand-finished in the style of broken stone while maintaining special ergonomics for a comfortable grip during intensive use. Micarta is a material that does not crack or rot, and is also immune to the destructive effects of bad weather. There is a large palette of colors available, which will allow you to make the knife individual.
The original knife is etched in iron chloride and has a Stone Wash finish, which is used to give a non-uniform matte surface and has an anti-reflective coating. Most scratches become imperceptible unlike knives with a satin finish.
There are also options in polymer coating. The polymer coating has better protection against moisture and various types of pollution. Before applying the polymer coating, each knife is sandblasted. Next, the knife is painted and baked in a specialized oven.
We have the opportunity to make each knife individual and unique with the help of laser engraving. We provide and agree on the drawing layout before starting the process. In the layout, you can make any adjustments and visually see how your future masterpiece will look.
With the help of strong and high-quality scabbards from Prosta Stal with a huge assortment of fastenings, the knife is easily and reliably attached to the molle system, belt, hip or equipment. Each scabbard is created individually and all wishes are taken into account, such as: degree of wear, place of attachment, density of the seat (knife can be worn down the handle), color and any pattern. There are fastenings on the belt, the moth system and on the thigh in various colors.
"CHEDRYK" – Ukrainian folklore work, which became known all over the world thanks to the masterful work of the composer Mykola Leontovych. We do not know whether he was aware of the political potential of his work.
Today we know more than a thousand versions of "ShchedrykA". At the same time, for a long time, people did not guess that the author of the music – Ukrainian composer. Fortunately, historical justice was restored a long time ago – now everyone knows the word "Shchedryk" and the name of the creator of this composition.
